Greg Angsten came out from Sylmar. The day looked somewhat Iffy. Greg launched first and proceeded to have big difficulties. Sank out
below the E where he scratched very low for several minutes. Us Eteamers decided to hold on a few more minutes. Greg continued to fight on meantime we began to launch and climbed out at approx 12:30. Finally luck came Gregs way he managed to core something and started climbing up. We flew around getting to 6500. At 3:30 everyone else had landed except Everyday Mike , myself and Greg. Everyday finally packed it in and landed around 3:45. Plenty of lift over the lake. Kept swapping top of the heap with Greg until 4pm. LZ shaded about 4 pm, so I knew this my be a good opportunity to land without all the usual rowdiness. Good decision landing was piece of cake. Greg by now had his 4 hrs and decided to land about 4:15 or so. Didn't take into account Oak tree rotor
caused by late afternoon blow down. Minor whack, but awesome flight.
