For anyone who missed the blurb on the homepage, there will be a memorial service for Jeff Craig this Saturday the 13th before the Dahlston Cup at 10am. Jeff's family is planning on attending, please come out and show your support.
Also, if anyone has any photos of Jeff, please email them to freddysemail [at] yahoo [dot] com.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend Jeff's Memorial at Kagel tomorrow since I'll be on my way to release several rescued raptors (birds of prey) in the Owens Valley. One of them is a Red-Tailed Hawk, which I will release Saturday afternoon in Jeff's honor. Like most of us at Kagel, I'm sure Jeff spent more time flying in thermals with Red-Tails than any other bird. Accordingly, I believe it is a fitting tribute to the memory of our friend, Jeff Craig.
Several pilots from around the world will join me at Gunter launch in the White Mountains near Bishop to release Jeff's Red-Tailed Hawk.
Following the memorial service yesterday, I was deeply moved by your gesture of kindness to the Craig family. When you opened the crate containing a stunning redtail hawk and released it to the sky, I felt my heavy heart lift a little. I hope Jeff's family felt it too.
