a huge thanks to someone (will the really slim shady please stand up) for breaking down my glider on Saturday while I was hiking back up to retrieve the 'burban. I made it in my record time which was necessary as it was getting quite dark.
When I got back to the dark, abandoned LZ, I found my glider on it uprights, battens sorted for packing, and the wings beautifully rolled as best as can be done without the pads, straps, bags. It's clear if I had left those out the glider would have been completely broken down.
Glad the five of us got to fly on that great day even without a driver. SHGA rules, and a big thanks to the mystery person/people...
