So this past Sunday Hiro brought out a model of the proposed gazebo and it looked wonderful. Apparently things are going pretty well with the building and safety folks according to Joe Greblo (Joe will likely post here and give a few more details about the progress).

We've been asked for the plans and I guess that's the information that Hiro needed to hear to move forward on drawing up the plans so we can start getting permits to build

From what I hear, the club is going to try and do most of the labor ourselves in effort to save on the cost of labor and potentially have a much better gazebo.

Here's a few pictures of the model Hiro brought out

Looking from the LZ towards SIBL The platform will be 36" high. The slab may be paving stones.

Looking from where the suburban is normally parked. The ramp is concrete, additional glider storage is made available under the raised platform

GAZEBO (old roof)

Post by Rome Dodson »

I measured the old roof, and if we cut off legs and saw in half .,plus 1 and 1/2 feet it will fit between the 2 containers . i figure it will be a year with no shade, 105 degrees this summer. what do you think??????????? . ROME
