Hardy Snyman - Has anyone seen him recently?

I just attended a 50th birthday party for Mark Demarino here in Houston. He's one of are more active members in the local club (Hand Glide Texas). Naturally, lots of old photographs were circulating including one of a group of pilots at a competition held at Pack Saddle (near Austin, TX). Hardy was in that photograph. After mentioning that I had flown with Hardy a couple of times in California, many of the pilots wanted to know if I had heard any recent news about him. Apparently, Hardy sent Christmas cards to many of them but stopped recently.

I remember seeing him at some point in the last few years. (I can't remember if it was when I came from Texas or Bakersfield.) If anyone has any information about him, please let me know. Some of the pilots here in the Houston area would like to hear from him.

By the way, Mike Rafferty was in that picture as well.

I saw Hardy in October at the Dahlsten Cup barbeque. I seem to recall that he said that he was living in the area, but I don't remember where.
