Relatively new Hang 1 pilot Nick Krall has been the chairman of the Sylmar Neighborhood Council's Land Use Committee, Sylmar Chamber of Commerce President, and works for our own local City Councilman. Nick was instrumental in helping us move forward with our Gazebo permits and has supported us in our efforts to restrict a future housing development in Dino's Triangle. He's running as a California Democratic Party delegate and could use our help. We would like to see a hang glider pilot elected to this position along with 2 other of the Councilman's staff. It would be very helpful if you could show up in Van Nuys tomorrow morning (Saturday)between 9 and 11 am to quickly cast your vote for him. It will only take 5 minutes. Ballots are being taken at La Sirentia Restaurant, 9116 Van Nuys Blvd., Panorama City. While there, be sure to also cast your vote for Dan Rosales, and Christina Barrera. This is your chance to pay something back to those who keep you flying in Sylmar (just think about driving to Crestline every weekend).
