This video was a rush job as was getting my friends and me hooked up with the local club in Santa Barbara Saturday, January 17th. It turned out to be a beautiful day and turned lightly soarable. My flight was 49-minutes and I got 800' above launch in mostly bumpy lift. I had to fly with zero VG when working in close to the rocks as you'll see. The locals launched a little bit earlier and went the opposite direction and got flights up to 3 hours. About 10 of us landed on the beach, while three sank out and landed in the Parma LZ.
If anyone wants to fly in the SB area, it is imperative that you first get a site tour by one of the site guides: http://www.sbsa.info/ This guide list is for either HG & PG. Some guides are only one or the other so be sure to ask.
BTW - The places where I launched and landed are H4.
