What??? Going up???

Post by noack »

I have to give a heartfelt and publc thank you to EVERYONE at Windsports. Linden, Greg, Andy, and Joe- thank you all sooooooooooooooooooooooo much.

I had my first soaring flight at Kagle mountain yesterday without any assistance. One hour and ten minutes! Got up to 5200 feet, and even went "cross country" over to Trash :D :o

I feel gratefull to be able to enjoy the air with you all! Please feel free to berate me if I screw up

:P

I also have to give Ron Weiner a big thanx too for bustings my balls enough to get me into this glorious sport. Thanx Ron :D

Matt

I speak for each and every Windsports instructor when I say that you have been one of our most enjoyable students that's come through our training program. It won't be too long when we'll be asking you to help us with some of the newer students.

I'm sure there will be plenty of fun and exciting flights ahead.

We need Matt to show some of our videos to his math students. I have a friend who teaches Jr. High science in L.A. and he reports that his students really enjoy the videos. Inspire them while they're young and they'll come fly when they're old enough!

Well, now your kids can watch you soaring above me. I'm mailing you the 10-minute and 26-minute versions in Windows Media format.

Brandon, I previously posted the 10-minute version of last Thursday's flight video in this thread: http://www.shga.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1407 I still think the full-res, 26-minute version is worth watching. I still have 51 and 37-mile XC flight videos to finish editing. If the weather stays the way it's going, then I'll have time. Meanwhile, I have new sound and camera techniques to work on.
