Likewise, Bill. John Wright also posted a nice video: http://vimeo.com/5564765 Stay tuned for more from him and Whack Westfall.billbrick wrote:Nice footage as always Jonathan. It was a beautiful day to fly, good chatting with you after flying. Catch you next time.
Nice video Jonathan specially when you buzz the launch or doing circles above the lz,there was no commentary during the flight I miss that is your microphone broken?I know some people say you talk to much so what they can turn the speakers off it the don't like it. So keep on talking and use you Ozzy accent on occasions ,have some fun

Thanks, Max. I have plenty of voice recorders to do narration but I have been pretty worn down from illnesses and really should have stayed in bed on Saturday. In the future, I plan to work with 2 reorders: one in the sail for ambient sounds and one inside my chin guard or nearby for narration. Then I'll sync everything up. The difficulty is that the video/sound editing takes more time and energy than the flying does. If I can come up with a really good KISS method then there will be more stream-of-consciousness flight videos in the future.max wrote:Nice video Jonathan specially when you buzz the launch or doing circles above the lz..........
BTW - The right-hand circles over the LZ was a spin with a 2,000 FPM sink rate. The fastest I've ever dropped.
Glad you enjoyed it, Wayne. Those were tail spins. The first set were kind of lazy and the second set was much tighter with a very high decent rate. Caveat: Spins can result in a tumble or broken glider.Wayne wrote:..............the backward 360s made me nauseous. very confusing. i want to see it again.
