Jim Rooney Hurt in NZ

Jim Rooney, a highly experieced pilot and frequent contributor to the Oz Report, hit power lines during a tandem in New Zealand, where he has been teaching this season. His passenger survived. Jim is in a hospital and the outcome unknown.

Powerlines: the only thing I fear more than a mid-air collision.
