A short while ago, I argued with Hungary Joe when he stated that I had flown over the houses on a climb from the lz back up to Locals Point. I was pretty defensive and even rude and obstinate as I felt I had paid special attention to keep my 360's from drifting where I didn't belong.

Fortunately I was flying with my gps unit and now have the track log to document each turn of the flight. As it turns out, Hungary Joe was correct in his statement. The gps track log shows that a small portion of 2 of my many 360's did indeed drift over a house, validating Joe's statement. Since my defensive tirade in the landing area was in public, I feel that I owe Hungary Joe more than just a simple, personal apology which I will give him. I also owe him a public apology. Since an apology with explanations or excuses represents no apology, I will make no excuses. The track log is available for all who would like to see it. Instead I'd like to apologize and thank Hungary Joe for speaking up when he witnesses a club rule violation.

In case anyone else is wonder whether she/he crossed a boundary, you really need to either have your shadow on the ground in Google Earth or select the option to extend you flight path to the ground. In either case the shadow will intersect the terrain as though you where on the surface and not in the air. Joe, we all make mistakes, but the way you handled this one sets a good example for us all.
