High pressure over the Owens last weekend kept conditions on the weak side, but Saturday was not too bad. It seemed people were struggling out ahead so I decided to fly out to 395 before crossing Onion Valley since my driver has trouble finding the bathroom, much less me out on the alluvial plain. Landed a few miles north of Independence and later wound up chasing a paraglider to Janies. Oh the shame.
Spent the next couple of days hiking the Lake Sabrina area and "Burro Schmidt's Tunnel" behind Garlock.
