Beer for landing pilot at Independence Airport

Post by JD »

Tony (Love2Glide) wishes to thank whoever from our club watched him land his lime Green X-Tra Lite* at Independence Airport Friday and then offered him a couple of Bud Lites. He relayed the story over dinner at Jack's in Bishop after retrieving yours truly and Dizzy.

* I think this was Supine Jim's old glider.

Cheers, Jonathan

How awesome is that? I land, and then cold beer magical appears thanks to the kindness of another pilot!

Thanks for the beer!

Jonathan, you've got to submit this photo to HG magazine for publishing. Just awesome. Should be on a calendar. Keep up the good work!

P.S.-man, what do you do for money? I want THAT job. You ALWAYS get to fly!

Thanks Max, Marcus & (Tom C on the other thread). I submitted 10 of the better, more representative photos in to USHPA along with descriptions. In the coming months it will be interesting to see how they do the layout.

Thanks Oscar. I'll have to go back with a better camera and mount setup one of these days. The SMA/coax cables did not arrive yet.
