Speed Gliding Event in the Bay Area 01/30/10

Hello All,

I ran across this on another site. It looks like it would be fun to watch. Maybe some SHGA pilots could enter so we have someone to root for.

I plan on entering my falcon in the single surface class, but I will need a wingman with a truck to help get my glider up there. We could make it a three-day weekend, and spend a day at Funston. . . Adam? Oscar? Who's with me?!

I plan to go for sure. I plan to go to be a spectator since i only have 4 kagel solos under my belt. However if by then I am able to fly more and get more flights under my belt and be set free by then, then I might bring my glider with me and do a late day sled run after the competiton.

My car is not ideal to bring a glider so if a truck is heading up then I would be interested. If I dont end up bringing my glider I can always drive on my own as well.

Oscar - do you want to drive up on Friday night and return on Sunday night?
If we go, we should enter the king-post class. Let me know - I would be just as happy to do a local trip as well.
