Torrey pines 2nd Sunday
Anybody want to go to Torrey tomorrow ,I'm leaving Long Beach around 08:00 It's looking Soarable so far .If you want to go let me know Five Six Two 230-1072 rain or shine.

Sylmar Pilots join Hawks on Second Sundays at Torrey
Thanks for coming down Oscar!!
It was good to see a few Sylmar regulars at Torrey! We had free food and sodas and some reasonably good flying.
Heather got to test the Torrey lift in a Tandem with David Beardslee, and Oscar passed his H4 test (YAAAAYYY!!!). The wind did have a few ups and downs, but it was a pretty good day overall. We had 16 members of the Hawks show up, and I got pictures of most of them below.
The Torrey Hawks will continue to hold our monthly fly-in / meeting on the Second Sunday of every month. The next one is January 10th, so mark your calendars and come on down!! I will comment that Barton's willingness to place a recall notice in a topic about pilots (including Sylmar pilots) having fun at Torrey is disappointing at best.
