To everyone else: I sincerely apologize to all of you for keeping Bob K's crap in the forum active. I just couldn't help myself. I get really gnarly when I can't fly. I take pot shots at a guy I've met once from a place I never fly when I should just ignore him. I was ready to - shall we say - exhaust the whiners at work. I was ready to run screaming into the dark. Maybe I did.
I was bored and frustrated at once and I've taken it out on you all as a twisted form of self-entertainment. As I take a deep breath, I feel I'm done. A ninety minute flight puts things right every time.

If I could apologize to Bob on behalf of Torrey Pines, the USHPA and the City of San Diego, I would, for violating his civil rights and banning him, just because the machine he was born to fly contains batons. I learned today 3 paraglider manufacturers are now installing some kind of batons or rods in their canopies.
