So, call me picky, but nowhere in this post do I see a PRICE. How much is the thing going to cost?

It's around $10,500.

If you have some time, do a google search for 'CASE 570lxt for sale'.

You can get a good idea of what these things sell for today.

I found a good internet deal on ebay.

It's 19,500$ (about twice what joe is asking)
And it has about 100 more hours on it!

Don't get me wrong. I support the Club's question about whether or not the make the purchase. I just wanted to know how much the investment was.

We have another very expensive project in the works and I wanted to know how this may or may not affect that as well--and what financial position these decisions put the corp. in.

Rather than ask the club to purchase it outright, I've offered to lease the tractor to the club for the next year, with the option to purchase it if they wish. I believe the board of directors will find the terms extremely attractive.
