Fred Ballard and I have arranged for the delivery of two large dump trucks of dirt to the launch ramp and it needs to be spread around a bit to be effective. The club's grading plan is to build up the launch area under the pilots left wing to create a level ridge to launch from, instead of a rounded knob. This will make launches less problematic in the switchy and gusty winds we get up there.
10 pilots can smooth out the area in about 45 minutes, so feel free to take a shovel up there and start the process for us.

It's going to rain this weekend.
Should Joe use spray paint and mark out the extent of the dirt spreading?
Should Kris G. use her plant skills to select a native grass which will hold the hill side in place, and not grow undesirable species which cause launch problems? Mustard grows to high and has to be cut down all the time.
With all those shovels up there, should we drain that puddle that develops on the saddle between Kendal's and the main Kagel launch?
Also with all those shovels should we move some rocks around on the last steep part that doesn't get graded.
