An open letter to Tom Casper

Dear Tom,

As we (the club) have a strong personal bond with you, and care for you a great deal; I feel that I must bring to your attention some facts which you may be unaware.

1. The high temperature this Tuesday in Boston will be 27F. Today in Sylmar it was 72F.
2. Today I soared for 3 hours and 13 minutes also in Sylmar.

I hope the presentation of these facts make it clear. Life is short Tom, and we hate you see you throw your god given soaring gifts away. Step back away from the ledge of non-flight and back to the solid earth of the Kagel launch.

In closing, I want to say: "Neener-neener we all flew in beautiful weather today while you are freezing. Come back soon to thaw out and fly."

Don't feel too bad Tom. You really didn't miss anything on Saturday. I had to PhotoShop the following scene. It is really a fiction.

Please note, Tom, that Jonathan appears to have chosen Mt. Lukens for his faux backdrop. I mean, it's not as if half the Kagel pilots flying Saturday made it there... Oh, well, yes, I guess they did.

Hey Orian,
I was just admiring your simulated track log to West Towers. Nicely done. I may not be getting any flying in out here, but I do get to enjoy this

Sorry I missed the party at my place. My invitation must still be in the mail. I hope the cats didn't get too wild and crazy.

I'm hoping to be in town again before too long. Maybe sometime during the first half of March. Make sure the weather's nice.

And keep posting the pictures and stories. I need something to keep me going, other than watching the dust collect on my glider bag.

No worries Tom- The road up Mt. Ascutney should be clear by the 4th of July, no just kidding, May 24th haha. Its supposed to rain for the next week and Ive got 4 days free to fly,boohoo.

Hey, is that gazebo done yet? Or, am I going to have to use my glider for shade?
