LA approved New bike path right through our hang 2 LZ

I read Los Angeles approved this today. I printed both maps to superimpose the path as best I could and it looks to run through the hang 2 LZ.

The green line is "green bikeway network"

It could be good, it could be bad. I'm not sure of any time frame.

Well one plus is we'd get some spectator traffic from people who never knew we existed. Just like at Dockweiler. On the downside that could be an issue if people stray into our landing path.

Wonder if there is someone we can inform as to the space we require to be safe and if they could jog the path to the side a bit to allow both to work together.

Yo Doug - The green line runs along El Cariso Park and then along Gridley Street. None of those lines interfere w/ our LZ. As a frequent LA bike path user, my expereince has been the existing paths are seriously under-utilized. Were unlikely to see many cyclists even if they ran it down the middle of our runway.

Now, the horses are another issue. Nothing more fun than staging my approach when a horseback rider comes ambling up over the back of the overshoot hills then dawdles next to the cone.
