Not an original idea, but consider the possibility. Use a Kayak cart to tow a hang glider to a remote launch.

Or use it to do a retreive when there is no road to where the pilot lands. Much easier than lugging the darned glider and gear on your shoulders.

I have one and have used it to retreive another pilot from far behind a locked gate.
