Alex,
Schluchtenkacker, great choice! It will certainly be easier to pronounce than Alex Khan.

I had a buddy that changed his name from Joe Dicktrickle.

When he got into court and told the judge his name, the judge said........."Well Joe, I can certainly understand why you'd like to change your name. What would you like to change it to?"

My friend said......."I'd like to change it to Fred Dicktrickle, your honor!"

"Why in the world would you want to do that!", the judge exclaimed.

Joe replied, "well you see, your honor, I'm so sick and tire of people coming up to me and saying 'HELLO JOE, WADDYA KNOW!"

I think I'll miss your pseudonym, Alex. I translated schluchten kacker from German and it sort of meant that you were "one who sh_ _s in gorges."
Sounds plausible given our sport, the terrain and the turbulence.
