I have two spots in my truck for a trip to the Owens, leaving the LZ about 7 pm Friday, August 5, returning Sunday pm.
You may have to camp. The Dow Villa is full, but I haven't checked anywhere else.

The plan is to meet at the LZ after work Friday.
Oh, I prefer to camp, but it's not a big deal either way. Perseid meteoroid shower will be in full effect when we reach town friday night.

Sunday Launch: The landing was pure bullshit though. That is my no stepper into the soft south wind was in a meadow full of cow droppings.
