Lawn Dart remains uninjured after 4 days in Costa Rica

Post by BudRob »

Believe it or not, LD has not hurt himself so far while lounging with Mike Knapp, Rich Holman and me in Costa Rica. Recall that last year LD did a stage dive into a concrete pit on the first night or our trip here. He spent the rest of the week moaning about his injuries.

Too much surf and sun here. The surf has been big and we have been getting worked pretty hard so far. We are all tired and just hanging by the pool today.

I was just telling JT yesterday that it wasn't as fun without LD on launch, and the L/Z is a lot smaller without Big Mike...

Day 5 - LD is still healthy.

I took Big Mike's epoxy board out this morning and broke it in half trying to punch through the back of a LARGE wave. They say those boards are stronger than fiberglass types but apparently this one wasn't. It must have been defective. Pictures later.
