If you scroll down you can see the yard is shaped like a runway and it might be possible to scooter tow and make it to the West Towers mountain. A powered harness or electric assist might make it easier. Its right across from Olive View Hospital.

Doug,

I have seen the property you describe first hand and can tell you that there are MAJOR power lines on the North side (Roxford st) that prevent any type of aircraft going in or out from that direction.

Reminds me of the Eaton Dam Reservoir bail out LZ only thinner.

Statistically someone would go into those lines if enough people landed there.
Maybe one of the adjacent lots would go up for sale too or those power lines could one day be either raised or buried. I read it was $1 million per mile to bury power lines but most new developments require it and places back east the get ice storms are thinking of burying existing lines.

There is a project to raise power lines even higher in El Monte on 200' towers.
