If you have a soaring flight while flying a sled, what would you call it?

The Wright glider, whose steering was modeled after the sled. Image

I'm amazed that it took so long for mankind to figure out flying. We've had the necessary materials since the Neanderthals, and the principle is pretty obvious. If you showed an ancient Greek a modern glider, he'd probably say: Of course, I could have thought of that. But they never quite pulled off the greatest dream of man over all those centuries. When you consider how advanced mathematics were thousands of years before anybody flew, it seems like the whole species had a brain fart on flying.

I can't explain how we figured out the orbits of the planets, yet didn't figure out germ theory. Seems that the everyday man would figure out how "filth = sickness" but they didn't until late in the game.

Einstein's theories where non sequtuer. Coming long before the observations could prove them correct.

In the future looking back, what are we obviously missing out on?

Maybe we should ask this man. He seems to like Ojai.

I thought I felt his energy last time we flew at the Beems.

We should envite him out to offer "healing flights." Obviously at the increased gary spivey rate.

.... Busto this is too funny, let's make it happen.

I have no doubt we could make this happen. I think he will dig the whole hang gliding thing.

...just like Doug and Paul Rubens were drinking when Mr. Playhouse was Busto'd for wanking in the cinema. Doug managed to teleport out of there before the constabulary arrived on the scene of the offending act.
