The sarcastic quotes have been gone for a few days. I will talk to Chip to get them back in, or I'll start another. The old one had almost 12,000 views. I'm sure it's retrievable.

yeah, i posted an AMAZINGLY good pg video of hotel soaring in lima and it's disappeared! wtf? I'VE already SEEN these videos. i just post them to be nice. BTW, we should totally get rid of "hang gliding capital of the world" cuz it just ain't true, and hasn't been for awhile, now...

I agree PG is cool. It actually crossed my mind, but to limit myself to evening flight would be difficult.

I was on launch when a wing collapsed on a pilot. He went in the bushes when there were bushes. Erwin and I were there. I was hooked in on launch when it happened. I unhooked and ran to the edge of where he was. He was actually about a hundred feet down the hill and all you could see was his paraglider on top of the bushes he went into. I yelled down; don't remember the exact words, but it was along the line of if he was ok.

Suddenly the bushes talked, "Conditions are smooth!". It turned out to be funny, but at the moment the wing collapsed, all I could do was try and will it to open, I was pretty freaked.

my bad, i think there's some sort of problem with our site. that's why the dates keep saying december 1969...glad that this excellent video is viewable!
