Flytec 3005 variometer and hang glider mounting bracket, $95. Includes the the Flytec padded bag.

As you can see in this photograph, the variometer accurately indicated that the broom handle was encountering neither lift nor sink. Glide on, broom handle.

I have a buyer, but he hasn't yet checked out the vario. If he completes the transaction, I'll post an update here. If he decides not to buy it, I'll send you a note to let you know.

When I raise or lower the vario, it beeps and indicates lift or sink appropriately. I haven't flown with the vario in a while, but it worked fine last time I flew with it.
