Hello Sylmarians. I'm a P3 living in west LA. I've mostly been flying out at Marshall and Soboba but would love to start flying closer to home. I'd like to come out and get a site intro to Sylmar.
I've got most of this week off so anytime really.
thanks

Looking for a site intro

Hi Tavis,
I'm not sure who the /official/ person or persons are that would normally handle that, but anyone on the BOD http://www.shga.com/bod.asp should be able to point you in the right direction. Of those listed, the Windsports guys (Joe Greblo and Fred Ballard) are usually on site teaching throughout the week.
I'm sure the longer term members will chime in if this information is not correct.
Enjoy the flying... it's a great site.
Lin.

Thanks everyone.
Thanks for the tips everyone. Tom gave me a call today I went out to Sylmar for a site intro and pretty awesome flight. I was in the air for 1:30 with plenty of fast small cores, a quick 40% deflation, and a southwest jet headed for burbank passing about 1000' feet over me. A very exciting day although I would have appreciated some warning about those Jets
j/k.
I think I'll be coming back to Sylmar quite often.
