I've seen a few hang gliders set up in airports and museums. They all look dead. There's no wind shaping the sail.
It would be like going to see a museum on domesticated cats, and all the stuffed cats in the exhibits where all depicted as wet. It wouldn't be communicating the idea of a cat.
Can we put small wires in the sail to make it look like its flying? I think a manikin in a harness would also give the observer the fascination of flying the way we do.
