joey fresquez has left his giant .3 foot wide rolling magnet at windsports,next to telescope. i'v picked up 1and 1/2 # of nails ,screws caps, ect where most park .the south area needs to be done. when was the last time you did anything for shgs? the next tire could be YOUR own. rome

Hey Rome,
When I'm fortunate enough to work, it's easily 60-hour weeks. The last thing I want to do on my tiny little weekend is MORE work! SO I really appreciate ALL the people who seem to have (or make) time for the club. I'll try to help more in summer, when I'm on the State FLying Team...

The $75 a year SHGA membership fee is pretty dam cheap for the return. I think members should feel obligated to help any way they can.

Are you asking the members to just drink the Kool Aid?

$75.00 is the amount that is on the contract, and there is nothing in the contract that mentions volunteering, personal obligations, etc.

We own our land and the only obligation we have is property tax, the rest is creature comforts.

We net roughly $10,000.00 a year. It would seem reasonable that we could afford tire repair on the tractor.

$75 is 1/50 of what the major contributors have done for our club so yes I think members should feel some obligation to contribute.
