Gopro Hero2 frames rate changeable with remote control

I opened a tech support question with go pro asking if the Frame rate can be changed with the remote control. My reasoning is so takeoffs and landings can be filmed with higher frame rates and thus provide better analysis later. (Slow motion whacks)

Here is their response:

Hi Douglas,

Thank you for your inquiry. You are able to change your fps with the remote. I just tested it. Below are the settings on the HERO2.

960 - 30
960 - 48
1080 - 30
