Just noticed that if you search google for "hang glide los angeles", SHGA doesn't show up on the first page. Windsports is #1 (good) then yelp.com then Fly Tandem at AJX. Bit odd as we're the only HG club in Los Angeles, and SHGA.com is a great website that deserves to be seen.
Worth doing some of the fancy SEO stuff to get up there? I have no idea what it involves and if it's worth the effort, just throwing it out there.

If you google "hang glide Sylmar" then SHGA is first up with Windsports second. This is followed by several other reference to the SHGA and hang gliding in Sylmar in general.
I don't think any fancy stuff needs to be done. Just need to add a meta tag "Los Angeles" and perhaps "Hang Gliding". Then the search engines know we're connected to Los Angeles and Hang Gliding. I didn't build the web site, but Ken Andrews or Chip could do that. It's not really difficult.
SEO usually involves spamming other websites such as all the spam posts I need to remove on a regular basis. I don't want to participate in that.
