Topo Map
Hey Chip,
I commend you on the amount of HARD WORK you've put into this thing. I find this topo map very helpful as it is.
I'm looking forward to seeing your final revision printed, laminated, and posted in our LZ.
NICE WORK!

What was I thinking?
I'll have the map out there today. This is still just a draft, but in color. You'll see that the red just doesn't pop like you would think it should.
At 67% of original scale, the map looks plenty readable. Overall, I believe it's nearly ready for printing and lamination.
I incorporated "most" of the suggestions, showing the 3 main dinner sites might not be a bad idea (italian, thai, mexican)

OK, after getting all the input I could take, I made most of the changes today and added a few of my own.
Range rings every mile, out to 10 miles.
Windsocks for LZ's
Red for shooting range, but no skull
Added locations of the nearest gas stations and eating places we frequent (Thai, Italian, Mexican)
Nearest place to buy beer
Added 7 Eleven
Moved the Hospital LZ to the right area
Airspace improvements and corrections
Highlighted routes, all the way to launches and LZ's
I did a print preview, looks like the print size will be about 44" x 69"
Overwrote the last one, so the link is the same, take a look!

Very nice thanks again. This is going on the front correct? The dimensions on the three faces are- starting from the N 84 1/8" Middle 73 1/2" S. 81" I think its best protected is the middle section.
For the real big map of the range from the 5/14 split to Monrivia Peak it would go best on the back South side the sun does not hit there. In the summer the back North side does get sun. I know this because when George and I built it we were in the shade all day until late afternoon.
Does any one know a shower dr contractor I want to get a estimate for doing the display cases in tempered glass instead of plexi glass.
