I called, Rome. Got his son Orion. Wayne is sleeping a lot and is typically not up for phone calls. But folks can STILL call and leave a message. It encourages him and his family to know there are people who care as he gets ready.

I also called. His son, Aurion answered my call too. The hospice nurse was there checking on Wayne. Damn, I hope I can get through this... As Dr. Jeff mentioned, Wayne is typically not up for phone calls. I mentioned that I tried to email Wayne and it bounced back. Aurion said to go ahead and forward the email to him at aurionh@gmail.com and asked me to pass this on to y'all as a way to contact Wayne.
Aurion mentioned he is really appreciates hearing from so many of you who Wayne has touched.
BTW, I know Wayne showed his graphics on the web so I typed his name in google. Check out the fourth entry down - this is him with Aurion. Also click on images for his name and check out the bombshells he regularly hangs out with when not at the LZ! Wayne, how can I get in on the action? (And what a sense of humor!)
On another Yentis note, I was watching some Euorpean hang gliding video a couple years back and suddenly a hang gliding toon started playing. The video author mentioned he did not know where the song came from. And I think the very first responder dised the music. Well, right then and there I decided I had to set both of them straight! Anyway, I made it through this as you can tell. It is only because I have a big smile on my face for the sense of humor of Wayne Yentis on the web!

Rome, Thanks for letting us know and including a phone number. I spoke with Wayne's son yesterday. He instructed me to write an email that he would read to Wayne. I have the email on deck to send out but I am too late... This makes me very sad because I really like Wayne. He was always a nice guy; kind to me, a bit moody and brilliant all at once. Super creative... I wanted him to know that my heart and thoughts are with him.
