Nose Rack for a Jeep Cheroke -Need Some Help

Post by Steve90266 »

I'm planning on taking another trip to Mingus, then Utah, then Vegas, but I'm not taking the Scout this time. Wife says no way.

I've got a Jeep Cheroke at my disposal, but it does not have a nose rack. I need some suggestions for a quick, field expedient nose rack!

Suggestions?

Steve,

I have a front rack from my old Toyota truck that you could have if it worked for you. It is a "removable" type rack that is made to slide over smaller diameter tubing attached to the front bumper. Maybe you could lash this one on "as is" or attach the smaller tubing that this would slide over. I would be happy to bring it out if you want to look at it.

Thanks, Rob. I'll take you up on this. I'll be out there this Saturday. If you could bring it out then, I'd appreciate it.

You might also consider one of Mike Barber's Remora Racks. That what I am using on my Subaru.
