The CG allows me to keep my hands on the bar at all times by adjusting my position with the foot bar at my feet. Which is great on approach Because I like to get upright and dirty for drag on glide path and I can quickly go prone if I am coming up short, all with my hands on the bar. Landing my glider requires both hands. I pull my feet off the bar at about 2' off the ground. For laughs watch me land my Atos VR for the first ever, in my CG on a down hill slope. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nX2NlXihwc Look at the upright position.
I know several old XC legends that will never part with their CG. The CG 1000 Is as streamline as it gets with plenty of storage options. There is no more Covert ( didn't you get the memo?) But you can order a brand new CG 1000 today at flycenterofgravity@gmail.com or call Jordan at 315-256-1522 She is great to work with and the quality of her work is excellent. A base price at 1k ? Works for me.
