It's a 10 mile cliff about 200 feet high facing the Pacific ~100 miles south of Ensenada. Nothing much around there so we are camping. Easily top-landable. Fly the length, land and have a bite, hop in the glider and do it again. I used to go every year with a bunch from Elsinore and had a great time but lately everyone around me has gotten old somehow. We could add an extra day and fly La Salina for a day too and stay at La Fonda if there's vacancies.

I would totally be down.....if I wasn't going to already be in mexico, flying elsewhere that weekend

Perhaps some other weekend.....

Greg, as we've talked about before, I'd be into doing this trip. But I'm tied up with work during your planned dates and through the end of March. Perhaps we could do another run down there later in Spring?

At the end of March Kagel's a different place and I would rather fly here. A three day weekend is a rare thing.

In the past I've gone for the weekend leaving my house at 4AM, meeting up with others for breakfast at a Denny's in San Ysidro at the border, then caravaning down there in time to fly that day. Fly the next day too for awhile then head back. This 3 day weekend would give us 2 full days and a leisurely ride back Monday.

I'm in. I think some of the other pilots are worried they might get their heads cut off by drug lords.

And here I thought hang glider pilots were supposed to have some guts. Muy hilarioso.

However, I've got to be home by Monday at 3 PM.
