For those who haven't been up to fly recently, the heavy rains at Kagel did wonders for the launch ramp and pretty much eliminated the dust in the setup area. It's nice to have some solid footing for both the pilot and wire crew.
As usual, I recommend getting well over the top of the hump and on to the face of the ramp. It's smoother and I haven't had any issues with a wing lifting on either side, even in a 20knot wind.
No waiver, no laundry? I thought it was 'no ticky, no washy'? I must not be keeping up with the times or my neck pain affects more than my visual cortex. I have flown a few times at Crestline but it's really too soon as my neck isn't up to the task. Maybe in another month or so.
