Outrage @ the latest UShPA tatics

Post by OP »

Can you believe they no longer hold valid the long held and honorable notion of the 360°

So what if I've aerotowed in the stink of the turbulent day, traveling 50+miles on a topless glider, to land in a restricted field surrounded by game fences. If I can't do 360°s... I'm just out of luck. My H3 only allows for FL and 360s. To take the 360s out of my repertoire... that's just insane.

I think he means the special skill 360 was eliminated:
https://www.ushpa.aero/news.asp?id=119

Added Special Skill: 360 - Demonstrates ability to do 360 turns in both directions with constant airspeed and bank angle.
The written exam has been updated. Please obtain a new version of the exam from the USHPA web site (by downloading a new packet) or call the USHPA office.

I hope the "no 360" rule doesn't apply to my dog...

I haven't ramp checked Shadow in a while. Last I knew she was still operating under a current D-4 (Advanced Dog Level 4) Special sign offs included RCB (remote control biter) and CWD (cooler water drinker)
