I have Pulmonary Fibrosis (a lung disease that's incurable and progressive, a bad combination). I had to stop hang gliding at 85 after 40 years. I get out of breath easily, just standing, talking, eating. Trish (my 40-year partner) rolls me around in a seated walker. I'm on oxygen 24/7, and they put me on hospice care, so nurses and doctors come to our house now. I sold memberships at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation National Convention until my back gave out, then founded the San Fernando Valley chapter until my lungs gave out. We have raised over $700,000 for animal habitats. I've lived a full life, 25 years scuba diving and 40 years hang gliding, plus hunting.
