Note the brand new row of oleanders in this photo, and the old gazebo. For many years, Hang-4 pilots would aim for the bullseye where we now have grass, while Hang-2 and 3 pilots would land in the wash where another bullseye is faintly visible in this photo. Then they had to carry their gliders up to the breakdown area using one of the two walk-ups at each end of the cliff.

Awesome photo Ken! I checked the history feature on Google Earth and noted that the most recent satellite image of our LZ is from March, 2015, so I took a screen shot and tried my best to skew it to match my shot from 2008. I posted it in the OP next to my original photo.
