NEW RULES IN EFFECT IMMEDIATELY FOR THE ELSINORE LZ
Each pilot LANDING at the Elsinore LZ must:
1. Be a member of the USHGA and EHGA, and have his/her USHGA card with them at all times while at the LZ. IF ASKED TO SHOW YOUR CARD, PLEASE DO IT PLEASANTLY.
2. Any EHGA pilot LANDING at the Elsinore LZ, must be qualified as an intermediate/advance pilot AND that rating must be displayed on the membership card, H3 and/or P3 at a minimum.
3. Each pilot must have signed the EHGA Waiver/Indemnity Agreement AND provided it to an officer of the EHGA before landing at the LZ. It is recommended at this time, to also keep an additional signed copy of the Waiver in your flying gear. IF ASKED TO SHOW YOUR WAIVER, PLEASE DO IT PLEASANTLY. You can find the waiver on the EHGA website, www.theeteam.org.
4. At this present time, ONLY one driver and one vehicle for each qualified EHGA pilot is allowed in the LZ.
We hope that everyone understands the gravity of situation at Lake Elsinore right now. We are attempting to abide by a Judges orders. If we fail to abide by these orders, we may lose the right to use the LZ.
You may also land anywhere else in Riverside County that you like!
Remember, it is easy to comply with these new rules PLEASANTLY. Just remember, if we are nice, we will prevail, and then we can fly Elsinore for the rest of our lives…
