Airtime Report

Post by ©hris »

I have looked at cutter's call nearly everyday since I left for Australia back in September of 2006 and it does not look like there have been more than 10 flyable days at kagel. That is sad - I think I left at the right time.

I just downloaded all my flights from my Flytec 5030 and I think more of you should have come with me to oz.

In four months I have racked up 115 hours! At the Forbes comp alone I flew 35 hours and over 800miles. We flew over 100 miles each day at Forbes with two of the days closer to 150miles. I have had 20+ flights in the past few months over 100 miles! At the Gulgong comp we were flying task most days at 12000-14000ft AGL - Cold but amazing!

Good times and good flights.

Has anyone had any great flights in the past few months at sites other than Kagel?

Wasn't that bad...
I flew about 250 Hrs last year alone. Locally and recreationally only, but that's irrelevant.
Good flying, though, Chris! Congratulations! We were watching you and are very proud of your success!

What You Left Behind

Post by Don »

While it might be nice in Aussie Land - you have to consider what you left behind!

The "highlights" include the traffic congestion, air polution, high density population living, drive-by shootings, misc crime, and of course the ever entertaining police chases.

Then of couse you have Federal, State, and local government that does little and what they do is usually adverse to the common good.

As you can see - most of us would rather stay enjoy greater L.A. :?
