And Now For a Little Controversy

"High Times", the SHGA newsletter, went out of business today after 5 members muttered to themselves, "I'm paying for this with my dues?"

Then it was back in business after 150 other active members declared the issue really funny, in a stupid way, and thought it was helpful that the work of the gazebo committee, attempting to navigate member needs in an intelligent manner, was subjected to such a highly sophisticated satirical treatment, and defended the editors right to entertain us with whatever comes into his head, under the SHGA banner.

The funniest story was Katherine Yardley's, who made great use of fake numbers which set us all laughing.

One member with a stick up his ass wondered what the point was, found the issue totally assinine, an embarrassment, stupid, confusing, and wondered if Richard, our editor, shows his stuff to anybody before he prints it, and who that anybody is, if anybody, and if the BOD really loves paying for this out of club dues.

That member was me, of course. Me me me.

Ah, humor. It is, how do you say, not for everybody?
