I've set up a way to have Cutter's Call sent to a cell phone in a text message. Unfortunately, each message is limited to 125 characters after a specific word on a given web-page (the shga.com homepage in this case). To show the most important parts of the forecast, I've initially set up three key words:
To get beginning of the forecast currently shown on shga.com sent to a cell phone, text "shga" (without the quotes) to 41411. This will include the date of the forecast, so you know it's not yesterday's.
Texting "shga2" to 41411 will return the part of Cutter's forecast after the word "today". This way should bypass yesterday's observations.
To find out his prediction for maximum altitude for the day, text "shga3" to 41411. This will give you information shown after "max".
Your cell phone company may charge you for text messages. Mine charges $0.10 for each one, but for $6/month I can get unlimited text messages. If you don't know what texting (I think that's what the kids are calling it) is, ask someone under 25.

To subscribe to the altitude alert list, text "highalt" to 41411 (it's already setup). Anyone subscribed will then be able to send a message to the entire list by texting "highalt" followed by the message. For example, I could text: "highalt max altitude 15k today" to 41411 and everyone subscribed to the list will receive "max altitude 15k today".
For this to work, somebody will have to take the time to send the text message before the obsession to get to launch becomes overwhelming.
