The trouble with being the top gun is that all these punk kids are now gonna come gunnin' for ya.

Can you stand the notoriety? The crass publicity? The paparazzi? The groupies? The sex, the drugs?

Don't take your Litespeed to Lone Pine, boy. Just lay your glider down.

You can get sex from being a HG top gun? :o Wow. I've been missing out! You can keep the drugs, publicity and notoriety. And the punk kids. But I'm still waitin' for my top-gun-sex-groupies! Probably just as well. My wife would chew them up and spit them out. ;-)

Seriously, Thanks Larry! Why don't you get back on a real hang glider and try and beat it! You've been doin' that biking thing, so you should be in far better shape than me.....

You are most correct, Dr. Grammaticon. My abject apologies. I abase myself in embarassment. 'Cause i ain't normaly doin' that kinda talk. And I even knew the rule. Subject vs Object - So simple.

But I note no hint of reply to the implied challenge. Does Dr. Grammaticon have a decided lack of testicular fortitude? ;-)

Seriously, Larry, I'd bet you'd be more likely to land without exhaustion than I (would be.) That was really my point.

And I still haven't heard from any hang-gliding-sex-groupies!

I have to concede that your most awesome flight tops my own Palm Springs flight by an order of magnitude!
Truly a magnificent example of vision, brains, skill, endurance, perseverance, and... HUEVOS!
(Hey, where's the huevos emoticon on this thing?)
Hearty congratulations!
I hope to share some hallowed air with you before too much longer.
