Seriously, we owe a debt of gratitude to those who pushed to get us to clean up our act early. (See http://www.shga.com/history.asp) Otherwise we'd be in the same boat (or worse) as Elsinore. The E-Teamers had chances to do so earlier and couldn't get it together. Hopefully they have learned that lesson well. I wish them luck.

Thanks, Joe Greblo, Jay-Fred Lucas and others... Without you, we'd have nowhere to fly in LA.

By the way, the history mentioned above doesn't go into full detail on the efforts of those (and other) people. They really made a huge effort, and at other times than the crisis that formed the club.

And Jay Fred may have started our fine tradition of flying related nicknames. After he launched unhooked at the 1500, he became Jay-Thud Lucas.
