Newsletter Editor Wanted

Post by Cabbagehead »

Dear Newsletter Readers.

As I have warned you before, this year will be the end of the traditional 2-year stint with me as editor of High Times, and I'm looking for someone who will take on the editorialship and keep the 23 year tradition of publishing this rag going.

It's not hard, and at times a great deal of fun. I will provide and teach you the Microsoft Publisher software, Jeff Chipman will provide IT support, Lisa & Joe& Katherine& Jay will provide proofreading/accounting/editorial/membership support. Wayne, Jeff, Cindy and others will send you photos every month. The only hard part is buggin' others to write the stories, but you'll get used to that too. I'll continue to write, with Rome, Ken and others continuing to contribute material as well.

Anyway, my last issue will be October, 2007, when I must put away all my files and drag the brewing equipment down from the attic, and start making all the homebrew that you the Club members will be drinking this winter and spring in the LZ.

Please think about this. Another nice thing about being the editor is that it automatically exempts you from all Board meetings, work parties etc. because you HAVE TO WORK ON THE NEWSLETTER!

If you're interested, please get back to me...
