Don't you think the name of this forum, Amazing flights is too much? No wonder nobody posts anything here unless it's record of some kind. Why not Flight Discussionor Flight Reports or something less intimidating like that? There was nothing amazing about my flight but people asked me to write it up so I stuck it here, and why not? I like reading about people's less-than-amazing flights. Maybe a sub-category for Relatively Amazing Flights by Mediocre Pilots?
Hey, every flight is amazing in the Hang Gliding Capital of the World.
Seriously, I think the name is grandiose for the fun of it. Actually, the postings here are among the most popular of all. Everybody wants to know what they missed, and it doesn;t matter if it was a bad inversion with everybody sinking out or a great glorious day.
We need more routine reports from Kagel, as well as yours from the big sky--because Dave Cutter uses them for his forecasts.
If we need to change the name, let's do it. But then would we be the Hang Gliding Capital of North Los Angeles County." ?

Name Change
I will admit that the name of this portion of the Forum can be intimidating even for me - I know that might be hard to believe. 
Posting under this portion could be considered bragging - if you have done something unusual, fine - but what about flights that are simply something just different for a change?
I have read numerous posts on the CSS forum about flights at Elsinore and sometime Soboba.
Maybe we need a separate portion for people to post summaries of their flights at places other than Kagel. Maybe these type of posts would increase the interest in other pilots to go to other sites.
